Does Vekta only serve the CAF
No, our product lines support a wide range of other government departments and agencies whether it be for reconnaissance or threat detection.
Vekta's products may be subject to certain restrictions such as those prescribed by the Controlled Goods Program, the Defence Production Act, and any other relevant federal, provincial, or territorial laws. All inquiries will be subject to analysis to maintain compliance with necessary laws regarding the transfer of any restricted Vekta products.
Can Algol - counter UAS be used in civilian areas
Yes, the Algol system is a comprehensive counter UAS solution that detects, tracks, and intercepts aerial threats. Thanks to Algol's "softkill" mechanism, aerial threats are neutralised without the use of bullets or kinetic interceptors that could cause collateral damage. Consequently, Algol is well suited to defend ground assets and installations whether they be in isolated rural locales or dense urban areas.
